With Telzio’s mobile app, you can make and receive calls with your business phone number, separate from your personal line.
We are pleased to announce that we have added SMS and caller ID capabilities to the app, so now you can send and receive text messages directly through the app as well as set your caller ID.
Text Messaging on the Mobile App
The next time you open your app, you will see the “Messages” icon in the lower right corner.
Click on Messages to view and send text messages.
Setting Caller ID on the Mobile App
To change your caller ID, go to Settings > Account Setup > Change Caller ID.
From there you can select the phone number you wish to be displayed as your caller ID when you dial out from the mobile app.
Text Messaging on Softphones & IP Phones
You can also send and receive text messages with softphones and IP phones, such as the Grandstream GXP2160.
Inbound SMS will continue to be free, and you can check the rates for outbound SMS on the prices page.
