Grandstream DP715
The Grandstream DP715 is a cordless IP phone that is affordable and works well for small business users.
In this article, you’ll learn how to configure a Grandstream DP715 to use with your Telzio service.
Before you get started, here are some important notes:
- You’ll need to create a User on your Telzio account to configure with your phone.
Learn about creating Users. - If you’ve previously used the phone with a different provider, you should do a factory reset on the phone first.
- You can order preconfigured phones from our shop that arrive ready for calling.
- Telzio can only provide limited support on phones that are not purchased directly from our shop.
Follow these steps to configure your phone with Telzio:
Log into the phone’s web interface
- Connect the base station to your network, and power up the handset.
- On the handset, dial *** and enter 02 when instructed. The phone will read it’s IP address, so be ready to write it down.
- Type the IP address into your web browser to reach the phone’s configuration page.
- Log into the interface using the default password: admin
Update the profile settings
- From the top menu, navigate to: Profile 1
- Next to Primary SIP Server, enter sip.telzio.com
- Click Apply.
Configure the handset
- From the top menu, navigate to Handsets
- In the section for Handset 1, enter the following settings:
SIP User ID Enter your username Authenticate ID Enter your username again Authenticate Password Enter your password Name Enter the name you want displayed as caller ID (optional) - Click Apply.
Configure server settings
- Navigate to Advanced Settings.
- Next to STUN-server, enter stun.telzio.com
- Click Apply.
