Collaborating on voicemail

How to collaborate on voicemail messages with other users in your organization using comments, tags, and reassignments.

Telzio enables you to share and collaborate on voicemail messages with other users and groups in your organization from the dashboard and the mobile app. You can leave internal comments, tag messages with custom labels, and reassign messages to others.

Collaboration tools you can use to manage voicemail messages:

  • Comment
  • Tag
  • Reassign

Comment on voicemail messages

Comments on voicemail messages are internal and can only be seen by administrators and other users who have been assigned to that message.

To leave a comment, navigate to the voicemail message and enter your comment in the comment field.

The voicemail detail page provides a log of all the comments and activity on the message.

Reassign voicemail messages

When you reassign a voicemail to another user, the user will receive an email notification alerting them that a message has been reassigned to them.

To reassign a voicemail message:

  1. Navigate to the message
  2. Click Reassign
  3. Select the user

Tag voicemail messages

Tags are custom labels for your organization that can be applied to organize and identify voicemail messages. When you reassign a voicemail message, the tags will remain in place until they are removed.

To tag a voicemail message:

  1. Navigate to the message
  2. Click on Edit Tags
  3. Select the applicable tags
  4. Click Update Tags
