Set up routing for unanswered calls

How to configure the routing for unanswered calls to a user.

You can specify where a user’s unanswered calls go when their extension is dialed directly.

This does not apply to calls forwarded to the user within a call flow.

To set up routing for unanswered calls to a user:

  1. Navigate to Users and click on the user
  2. Select one of the options under Unanswered Calls
    • Voicemail (default)
    • Keep Ringing
    • Call Flow
    • User
    • Group
    • External Phone Number
  3. Select the Ring Duration from the dropdown to determine how long the call should ring before routing to the option selected in the prior step
  4. Click Update Settings
