Enable paging on your IP phones

Telzio Paging enables you to establish a one-way call to other devices to make announcements.

Telzio enables you to establish a one-way call to a Group or to all Users in your organization. With Paging, you can broadcast announcements to employees, offices, and departments.

Before you can start Paging, you need to enable Paging on your device. Paging works with most desk phones supported by Telzio. To learn how to enable Paging on your device, please check our support guides or the user manual.

How to set up paging

  • To page all Users on your account: Dial *84
  • To page all Users in a Group: Dial * plus the extension of the Group
  1. Log on to your phone’s configuration page by entering its IP address in your web browser’s address field and entering the phone’s default username and password admin

  2. Navigate to Dsskey and locate the key you wish to program

  3. Edit or add a key and set the following:

    • Type: Speed Dial
    • Value: XXX (Substitute XXX with the extension of the group you wish to receive the page)
    • Label: Page [Group] (where Group is the name of the team you’re paging)
  4. Repeat this configuration for each phone where you want to enable paging

Enable paging on Grandstream phones

  1. Log on to your phone’s configuration page by entering its IP address in your web browser’s address field and entering the phone’s default username and password admin

  2. Navigate to Setting > Programmable Keys > Virtual Multi-Purpose Keys

  3. Edit or add a key and set the following:

    • Mode: Speed Dial via Active Account
    • Description: Page 1
    • Value: XXX (Substitute XXX with the extension of the group you wish to receive the page)
  4. Repeat this configuration for each phone where you want to enable paging
