Two-Factor Authentication
Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your phone system by requiring an additional code to log into the Telzio website.
Important notes about Two-Factor Authentication:
- Two-Factor Authentication requires the Google Authenticator app. Download it now for iOS and Android.
- Both Account Owners and Users can enable Two-Factor Authentication.
- Account Owners can see which Users have Two-Factor Authentication on the Users page, indicated by the lock icon on the far right.
Account Owners
After you’ve downloaded the Google Authenticator app, follow these steps to enable Two-Factor Authentication for Telzio Account Owners:
- Navigate to Account Settings
- Under Preferences, move the Two-Factor Authentication toggle to ON
- Click Update Preferences, and then you’ll see a QR code
- Scan the code with your Google Authenticator app
- Enter the code into the field provided on the Telzio website
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Users
After you’ve downloaded the Google Authenticator app, follow these steps to enable Two-Factor Authentication for Telzio Users:
- Hover over your name in the top right corner of the Dashboard
- Click on User Settings
- Move the toggle under Two-Factor Authentication to ON
- Click Save Changes, and you’ll see a QR code
- Scan the code with your Google Authenticator app
- Enter the code into the field provided on the Telzio website
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
