Setting SMS threads to close automatically
How and why to automatically close SMS threads after a certain amount of time has passed.
By default, an SMS thread will remain open until it is closed by an administrator or the user assigned to it.
In some cases, it's beneficial to automatically close SMS threads after a certain period of time. For instance, if you want to make sure new incoming requests from a customer are directed to an entire group of users after a previous conversation has ended.
Account Owners and Administrators can configure their Telzio account to automatically close message threads as follows:
- Navigate to Account Settings
- Under Preferences, click on Auto-Close SMS Threads
- Select a timeframe from the dropdown menu
