Polycom Soundpoint

Updated: Feb 16, 2017

Telzio works with a wide range of IP phones, including office and conference phones from Polycom. In most cases, you can configure your existing IP phones to use with Telzio.

In this article, you’ll learn how to configure a Polycom Soundpoint IP phone to use with your Telzio service.

Here are a few important notes to keep in mind before you get started:

  • If your phone was previously used with a different provider, you should start by doing a factory reset on the phone. If the phone is locked, you may need to reinstall the software on the phone to enable it to be used with a new provider. Telzio does not provide support on locked phones, but you can refer to our support guide on how to Reinstall the Firmware on a Polycom Soundpoint.
  • You can order preconfigured phones from Telzio that arrive ready for use. Telzio can only provide limited support on products that are not purchased directly from our shop.
  • This guide outlines setup instructions for the Polycom Soundpoint IP601, which can also be followed to configure other models in the same series, including Polycom Soundpoint IP321, IP331, IP335, IP450, IP550, IP650, and IP670, and conference phones including Polycom Soundpoint IP5000, IP6000, and IP7000.
  • In order to configure your IP phone, you’ll need to have a Telzio User.
